Wifey showed up last weekend. Yay!!! Got to hang with my shnookie all weekend sans kids. Turns out we still like being with one another and it's not just for the kids' benefit. Showed her around town starting with Santa Monica Pier where we ate at Marisco's at the end of the promenade. Excellent margaritas. Saturday we went exploring and looked at Valencia and around my studio. Went out to the Getty museum and walked all over and wandered throught the gardens. Ended up at Universal CityWalk and got to be tourists for a while. Ate at the brewpub restaurant there. Good hefeweisen. Sunday we got our geek on good and tight and went to the California ScienCenter for the Star Wars exhibit. An attempt to make parallels between Star Wars technology and current modern technology. A little weak in the "science" catagory but Bren got to pose with some real Stormtroopers. After we had our fun, she gave her blessing and we will begin preparations for moving the whole faily out here after Emily's wedding in April. If all goes well, We will be beginning a new Sherrod chapter sometime May/June. Keep Moving Forward! - Walt Disney.
